Microplastics in our… stools (cartoon #16)
Well, that’s awkward… A recent study reveals microplastics have been found in human stools, and not just a little bit, up to 9 different plastics, and up to half a centimetre in size! Based on this study, the authors estimated that “more than 50% of the world population might have microplastics in their stools”.
