IPCC report 2018 (cartoon #19)

One of the main lessons of 2018 was the special IPCC report (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) published in October: we have 12 years to limit (not eliminate) climate change catastrophe. Keeping global warning to 1.5°C (as opposed to 2°C) could prevent corals from being completely eradicated and ease pressure on the Arctic. Read more in this Guardian article.
